FAQ's​
"How do we book you for our wedding date?"
​To secure your date, all I need is a signed contract and a deposit of £350. Once both are completed, your booking is fully confirmed and your date is locked in my calendar.
"How far in advance should we book?"
Most couples book 12–24 months ahead. I film a limited number of weddings per year, so dates can go quickly — especially peak summer weekends. If you’re considering booking, it’s best to enquire as early as possible.
"Do you travel outside of Cheltenham / the Cotswolds?"
Yes! I film weddings across the UK and internationally. Travel within the UK mainland is usually included or minimal. ​If your venue more than 2 hours away from Cheltenham there will be a charge for a cheap hotel, Traveoldge or similar. — I’ll confirm any travel expenses upfront before you book.
"How long are you with us on the day?"
All packages include full-day coverage. That means I’m with you from morning preparations through to around 30 minutes after your first dance — I never charge extra if things run slightly over.
"Do we get to choose our music?"
In your personal film you can choose whatever music you'd like - I understand how meaningful specific songs can be. In my portfolio versions I use high-quality cinematic tracks that I’m legally able to include in your film due to licensing.
"How will we receive our films?"
Your final films will delivered via digital download link where you can download, share, and rewatch everything in full 4K quality. You can also choose the optional extra to receive your films on a USB stick.
"How long does it take to receive our wedding films?"
The average turnaround time is 10–16 weeks, depending on the season. Summer weddings sometimes take slightly longer due to peak demand, but I always keep you updated throughout the process. You can also choose the optional extra to receive your films in 6-10 weeks.
"Can we request any changes to the final film?"
Yes — every package includes one round of small revisions. I want your film to feel perfect, so you’re welcome to request minor tweaks.
"Do you work well alongside photographers?"
Absolutely. I work with photographers all the time and create a relaxed, collaborative atmosphere. My style is unobtrusive and documentary-led, so the day flows naturally.
"Do you use microphones for speeches and vows?"
Yes. High-quality audio is essential. I use discreet wireless microphones and backup recorders to ensure your vows and speeches sound clear and cinematic.
"Do you offer drone footage?"
Yes — drone footage is included where permitted, weather dependent, and legally safe to fly. It adds a beautiful cinematic touch to your film.
"Can we add the optional extras later?"
Definitely. You can upgrade your package anytime before or after the wedding. If you’re unsure what you want now, you can decide later — everything is flexible.
"What happens if you’re ill on the day?"
This has never happened — but I have a network of highly skilled professional filmmakers I can call on. You’re always covered. And I still personally handle all editing and delivery.
"Are your films posed or natural?"
My approach is 90% documentary — capturing the day as it naturally unfolds — with a few relaxed, guided moments to bring out the best visuals without anything feeling staged.
"When do we pay the remaining balance?"
The remaining balance is due 30 days before the wedding. You’ll receive automated reminders through my booking system so nothing gets missed.
